Thank you for considering APU International School, a premiere institute offering elementary, middle, and high school education centered around American curricula. APU International School is open to both Vietnamese citizens as well as international residents and has an enrollment of over 600 students.

Admission to the school is based on space availability, student academic potential, and parental dedication toward student education. A series of placement tests are given to each new student to determine academic capabilities.

The APU International School curriculum is based on the American model, with classes averaging 10-15 students in the elementary school and 15-20 in the middle and high schools. This low student-teacher ratio enables children to obtain the individualized instruction and attention needed for high achievement.

Prospective students whose English is inadequate for total immersion will be temporarily placed in our English Language Development Program. Once they have reached a level of English proficiency sufficient for academic success, they will join appropriate mainstream courses.

Participation in the immersion program entails periodic reviews of student progress in English. Our goal is to prepare students for the international program, which is conducted entirely in English.
