Cafeteria
After only two months of construction and anticipation, the new cafeteria at APU International School’s Lanh Binh Thang campus finally opened for business at the beginning of March 2010. Our dining staff is led by the experienced head chef, Truong Thanh Tùng, who was formerly the head chef at the Continental and Sofitel Hotels in Ho Chi Minh City. Our team of enthusiastic cooks and wait staff will serve breakfast and lunch for APUIS middle and high school students, as well as dinner for dormitory students. Food is prepared in the kitchen each day with breakfast available prior to the start of school and lunch served during students’ regular meal times. Prices range from around 20,000 to 35,000 VND. While the menu will vary from day to day, students will be able to sample food such as “scramble egg with bacon” and “vermicelli soup” for breakfast, and for lunch they will experience meals ranging from “braised fish fillets with fish sauce and coconut” to “wok-fried rice noodles Singaporean style” as well as a delicious dessert. A beverage bar, which will serve drinks and fresh juice, is also in the works. The new cafeteria is an exciting and pleasant addition to our campus and has become a great place for students and staff to relax and enjoy good food during lunch and after school.
